The simplest and fastest way to apply for the internship program is through our online application form. This helps us gather all your information and documents efficiently for swift placement. If you encounter any difficulties with the form, feel free to email your application to marketing@sinacareers.com
Along with your email, please attach your CV with a recent photo of yourself and a cover letter. Be sure to include your preferred start and end date.

The great news is, that you don't need any prior Chinese language experience to embark on your internship journey in China. English is typically the primary language requirement for our internships.
However, knowing some Mandarin can truly enrich your experience. Basic Mandarin skills can make daily life smoother, allowing for more personal connections with locals. Plus, it can elevate your professional interactions since many Chinese companies operate in Mandarin.

Doing an internship in China in a Chinese company is a golden opportunity. Here, independence is key, and you're encouraged to approach tasks in your own style. Embracing this approach during your internship opens doors to valuable insights into both business and culture. Our internship programs in China offer flexible start dates year-round, so you can choose what works best for you. Our programs typically run for about 5 and a half to 6 months, giving interns plenty of time to dive into their roles and get a taste of Chinese culture.
Keep in mind that committing to the full duration of the program is essential for making the most out of the internship experience.

Fortunately, applying for our internships in China won't cost you anything. We're firm believers that everyone deserves the opportunity to intern in China. Our online programs are fully funded, which means we cover all placement fees, including accommodation, meals, and pocket money.
However, it's essential to be mindful of other expenses. We suggest considering costs like airfare, visa fees, international insurance, and your day-to-day expenses while planning for your internship journey.
Even though applying for online internships doesn't cost anything, it's crucial to think about these extra expenses.
With some careful planning and budgeting, you can make the most out of your time there, soaking up the culture and getting a real feel for what the professional world is like in China.

Upon arrival, you will be accommodated either within the hotel itself in a guest room with a private bathroom, or in a nearby dormitory.

Yes! With our internships in China, you will receive a financial compensation of 3000 CNY per month.

Once you arrive at the Hotel, your English-speaking manager, will welcome you. Depending on your arrival time, you will also be introduced to the premises and your team. Although language barriers may exist, the team typically consists of young members, making it easier for you to connect quickly and perhaps even learn Chinese. Besides, some hotels recruit two international interns, providing another opportunity for socializing and building relationships.

As a Guest Relations Officer or F&B Assistant, you will be assigned to the Front Office department. Future responsibilities include welcoming and offering personalized assistance to international guests, ensuring efficient resolution of any issues, and delivering an unforgettable experience to each visitor. You will be supervised by managers and supported by your team throughout your internship in China!

You will need WeChat wherever you go in China. Download the app and get access to a multitude of services! Note that to validate your account, another WeChat user will need to confirm your identity.
During your internship in China, you can ask for assistance from your manager to get a Chinese SIM card. Don’t forget that Sina Careers also remains available to support you and meet your needs!
Finally, setting up a bank account will depend on how your financial compensation will be disbursed. If the hotel sends you pocket money via WeChat, they will assist you in creating the bank account. If you receive cash, the hotel won’t take this responsibility spontaneously. Feel free to ask your managers or Sina Careers for help if you think you need it!
